Receiver-In-The-Ear (RITE)

The RITE instrument is the latest phenomenon sweeping our industry. It combines the best of both Behind the Ear and In the Ear instruments. With the external receiver placed in the ear canal, it provides the excellent sound quality of a CIC, and the comfort benefits of an Open Fit. Furthermore, the Interton RITE offers more gain and a broad fitting range.

Open Fit Behind-The-Ear (BTE)

Our Open Fit BTEs offer instant and effective physical fitting. Open Fit instruments eliminate the “plugged up” feeling and voice distortion that can occur with traditional ear molds. The Thin Sound Tube, being practically invisible, provides a natural look. At Interton you’ll find several Open Fit options, from the highly sophisticated RITE to the basic trimmer adjustable instruments.

In-The-Ear (ITEs)

Built using a custom mold of the ear, ITEs offer a tailored fit to the patient. Sizes range from the virtually invisible Completely-In-The-Canal model (CIC) to the Full Shell (FS) which sits in the canal as well as the outer ear. For patients who are concerned with appearance, this form factor is a must in product selection.

Power Instruments

Sometimes you just need powerful amplification. When hearing loss is so strong, it’s best to have several options. Interton offers power BTEs and ITEs in most of its product lines. You’ll have more options for your patients who have fewer options when it comes to amplification.
